About CASA

Dallas CASA is an organization of volunteers who are voices for abused and neglected children in court. Today, just in Dallas County, more than 2,000 children who have been removed from their homes are waiting for the courts to decide where they can safely and permanently live. CASA volunteers--Court Appointed Special Advocates--are trained and supervised to make recommendations that help judges decide what is best for each child. For many children, CASA is the only constant during a scary, uncertain time, and a CASA advocate can make an immediate and critical impact on the life of a child.
